Burleigh is known as one of the best surfing locations on the Gold Coast. The most obvious feature is a rocky headland that hosts a National Park and koala park, with a short walking track that has lookouts providing excellent coastal views.

Burleigh Heads, to use the correct name, is one of the most popular holiday locations for families. There is little in the way of entertainment venues, clubs and pubs so if peaceful, quiet relaxation is on your agenda, then Burleigh should be high on the list. Much of the accommodation in Burleigh is in low and medium rise properties and while there are some high rise, they do not dominate the skyline.
