Palm Beach is located just to the north of Currumbin Creek. This still water estuary is a magical location where small children can frolic in the shallows while canoes and kayaks glide past as they explore the upstream reaches.

The area still maintains much of its original charm and has resisted the temptation for a skyline filled with high-rises. The surf is excellent and the fishing is good, particularly in winter. If you enjoy a good walk in the fresh air, try the track from Palm Beach to Burleigh Heads National Park to the north. This is a scenic way to explore the coast.
